Cabinet of Curiosities
NATURA – MATERIA
A cabinet of curiosities – or Wunderkammer – stored and exhibited a wide variety of objects and artifacts, with a particular leaning towards the rare, eclectic and esoteric. Through the selection of objects, they told a particular story about the world and its history.
In the midst of Milan’s vibrant spring, Anest Collective presents an intimate showcase - "Cabinet of Curiosities ACT I PROTEUS", amidst the bustling currents of MIART and Salone del Mobile, thoughtfully positioned between the two as a curated pause.
This exhibition curated by architect and designer Marco Parmeggiani in collaboration with creative director Gregory de la Hogue Mouran and Galleria Massimoe Francesca Minini.
Each dress of ANEST is chosen and combined with a work of art and a design object that links the three artifacts in a precious, timeless casing.
Historical pieces of notable stylistic importance are grouped together with newly designed pieces by international artists and designers, which represent the dedication to craftsmanship and aesthetics of Anest Collective, chosen and desired by the Curator and the Artistic Director GDLHM.
It is not only a physical space for collection, but also a field for spiritual exploration.
